The Friends of the Ogden Farmers Library (FOFL) had their annual book sale from Tuesday, October 21st through Saturday, October 25th and would like to thank all the volunteers and patrons for their participation in the sale. The Friends appreciate all the volunteer support in pre-sorting the books, setting up the book sale, selling during the sale, and with the clean-up. The sale was very successful with proceeds of over $4700. All of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Ogden Farmers’ Library
Many of the volunteers joined us for our first Volunteer Appreciation event on November 1st. The event included crafts, trivia, a raffle, food, and fellowship. A special thank you to John Cohen, Director of the Library, for attending the event, expressing his appreciation for everyone’s hard work at the book sale, and discussing how grateful the Ogden Library is to have such a supportive group of volunteers to support the library programing. We are always looking for new members to support the Friends of the Library. Our next Friends of the Library meeting is Monday, November 17th in the library meeting room from 6:00-7:45pm.
