Calling All Book Lovers!

The Friends of the library will be sponsoring a fun event at the library called “A Blind Date with a Book”. We currently have a big display of gently used books that are wrapped to pick from for yourself or a loved one. Each book is wrapped with clues on the wrapping paper of what type of book is inside. Pick a book that matches your mood, unwrap the book and go on a date by reading! It’s a perfect way to enjoy yourself this winter by curling yourself in a warm blanket with a hot beverage and immerse yourself with a surprise book.
The Friends of the library is asking for a donation for each book you select to help support Ogden Farmers library. All of the proceeds from this event will benefit the many programs offered at the library. The Blind Date with a Book display will be available through the end of February. The Friends of the library had their annual book sale last October and we appreciate all the volunteer help and patron participation in the sale. We are please to say that the proceeds from the sale was over $4200. Please put the dates of October 21-25th for the 2025 Ogden Book Sale on your calendar.
